Welcome

Hey there, thanks for stopping by and visiting my website! While you’re here, check out my galleries or the blog to see my latest work!

I’m a naturescape, botanical and street photographer with a passion for visual storytelling.

I’d like to say I’ve been taking photos since I was knee high to a grasshopper, but that’s not the case. I’ve spent my whole life loving art and all things creative but life, as it often does, got in the way and the years rolled by. Now though, I have decided it is time to dedicate my life to mastering the art of photography and I’m pretty sure there’ll be no looking back!

2019 marks the year that I started taking things more seriously. I want my photography, above all else, to grow to a much higher level. That’s the reason I have started Jakki Morgan Photography. I want to share my experiences with the world, whether it be educational or hopefully to some, inspirational.

A yearning to be at one with nature, along with a love of art, adventure and exploring, is what I think characterises my photography and drives me to seek out and find the beauty created by the natural world.

A storyteller at heart, I am inspired by the beauty of flowers, trees & naturescapes and I love to travel to new places, exploring the unknown and finding those all important elements that connect humans with nature.

The use of macro photography in my images is a style I enjoy and perhaps signifies my content as being my own. It is a method of photography I was intrigued by right from the beginning and it always keeps me trying to perfect my art.

I love being outdoors. I enjoy hiking in the Cumbrian Fells and in the nearby Yorkshire Dales. It is an added bonus for me that I get to capture moments I experience on my camera.

With an increasing social media following on Instagram, Flickr and 500px, my images and profile are gaining in popularity allowing my content to be seen all over the world. All my images are available for licence.

Images / Licencing / Print

My photographs and visual art images are available for commercial and personal use, be it licencing or purchase for print. Images can be viewed by visiting the galleries on this website and are available digitally or as prints.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q. What gear do you shoot with?

A. Over the years I’ve shot with a bit of everything, but Canon products, to me, stand out as being most suited to my style of photography.

Q. How do you edit your images?

A. The majority of my images are processed from single ‘RAW’ files and I use Lightroom or ON1 for minor adjustments. I then move over to Photoshop for the major refinements and final tweaks. I hope, in due course, to add tutorials to this site on exactly how I edit my work.
