I’m planning to start my own blog soon but I’m a little lost on everything.
Would you propose starting with a free platform like WordPress or go for a paid
option? There are so many options out there that I’m completely confused ..

Thank you for your kind comment. In my opinion, WordPress is a very good platform and I use it for all my blogs. My experience is that, although there are plenty of free themes for WordPress, it is preferable (unless you have the skills to amend code) to purchase a theme from a reputable seller as support and updates are more readily available.
